Hay algunos LP nuevos, pero el mes está dominado por reediciones masivas e intrigantes presentaciones en vivo.

Pretenders, el veterano cantante de Bad Company Paul Rodgers y Wilco ofrecen material nuevo. Pero la lista de lanzamientos musicales de septiembre de 2023 está dominada por reediciones masivas e intrigantes presentaciones en vivo.

El próximo álbum de Pretenders, 'Relentless', es la segunda colaboración de Chrissie Hynde con el guitarrista James Walbourne, y cuenta con una orquestación invitada de Jonny Greenwood de Radiohead. 

Rodgers está de regreso con su primer nuevo álbum en solitario desde 2000's 'Electric'. 

"Wilco's Cousin" fue producido por la cantautora Cate Le Bon, marcando la primera vez que la banda ha trabajado con alguien fuera de su círculo habitual desde 'Sky Blue Sky' de 2007.

Entre las próximas reediciones se encuentra una enorme caja de The Who que se centra en su álbum clásico "Who's Next" y la ópera rock "Life House" que sirvió de inspiración. 

Steve Miller Band conmemora el aniversario de su exitoso álbum con 'J50: The Evolution of The Joker'. 

La edición de lujo ampliada del 40 aniversario de Jethro Tull de 'The Broadsword and The Beast' presenta un remix del fundador de Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson.

Los aspectos más destacados de los lanzamientos en vivo de septiembre incluyen 'Rumors Live' de Fleetwood Mac, que presenta un concierto grabado el 29 de agosto de 1977 en el Forum de Los Ángeles cuando 'Rumors' era el álbum número 1 en los EE. UU. 

'Live at The Matrix 1967: The Original Masters' encuentra The Doors en la cúspide del estrellato. 

También hay un box set en vivo póstumo en camino de Jeff Beck, Tim Bogert y Carmine Appice.
